The Scoop:
When thrifting calls for cats and coffee, Annie’s Attic hits the spot. Little hidden gem on Main Street!
About the Store:
Annie’s Attic Thrift Shop And Cat Cafe has been open since 2021 and combines a traditional thrift shop with a cafe and adoptable cats.
The store isn’t particularly large, but it makes good use of its space without feeling crowded. Shoppers will find clothing, housewares, home decor, books, records, other thrift-store staples but also pet supplies. Books are always Buy 1, Get 2 Free, while the vinyl section, though relatively small, is better curated than what you’ll find at many thrift stores, with both LPs and 45s.
The cat cafe occupies the centre of the store and serves coffee beverages and baked goods. The cats have their own room near the cash register and are provided and adopted through D’Arcy’s A.R.C.
Cat visits require a minimum $5 donation and are normally limited to 15 minutes, although visitors may be able to stay longer when no one else is waiting.
